When I was in Petawawa, I didn't appreciate it nearly enough. In retrospect, it was a great place to live. I lived on base from 1956-59 at 51 Ortona Ave. and off base from 1966-75 on Sunset Crescent off of Laurentian Drive. Attended Champlain High from 1970-75. In between, my family and I lived in Germany and Base Picton. |
