Online Pet Licensing Program
The Town of Petawawa has partnered with DocuPet Inc. to provide an enhanced pet licensing experience. DocuPet's licensing program includes a FREE Lost Pet Service, the ability to upgrade to a tag of your choice, and personalization options. This process was introduced to improve customer service and convenience, increase efficiency, improve compliance, and reduce labour costs.
Pet tags can still be purchased at the Town Office, but the tag will be delivered to you by mail. Pet tags are now sold on a 365 day basis as opposed to the calendar year, meaning, no matter what time of year you move to the municipality and purchase your pet tag, the tag will be valid for 365 days. If your pet tag is not renewed by the anniversary purchase date, the increased renewal fee shall apply the next day.
The Town of Petawawa does not license pets on the Garrison's North and South Town Sites.
Scentral Bark Dog Park tags are now be sold in person at the Community Services Office at 16 Civic Centre Road. Dog Park tags will also be sold on a 365 day basis for $20.00.
