Large Employer Emergency Financing Facility (LEEFF)

May 11, 2020  The Prime Minister has announced the establishment of the Large Employer Emergency Financing Facility (LEEFF) to provide bridge financing to some of the largest employers in Canada.  While details of this fund and its parameters have not been fully released, the LEEFF, is designed to help those businesses who would not be facing these difficulties pre-pandemic.  A review of the business employment, tax and economic activity will be part of the assessment for bridge financing as will the organizations international reach, structure and existing financial arrangements.
