Petawawa Point is a unsupervised beach - there are no lifeguards on duty.

The boat launch is a concrete launch fitting for small craft launching and comes complete with docking slips to ease your put-in and take-out needs.

The Town has another beach at Centennial Park which is also an unsupervised beach with no lifeguards on duty.  This beach is fed with water from the Petawawa River and surrounded by the Catwalk, separating the white water of the Petawawa from the beach pond for little swimmers.
