Recommendation:
That Council approves the award of Tender PW-05-2024, Hot Mix Asphalt Patching, to the lowest bidder being Bonnechere Excavating Inc. in the amount of $103,895.75 plus HST.

Discussion:
The tender was prepared and advertised in a local paper and on our website. Eight (8) firms requested tender packages and two (2) firms submitted complete tender packages on the closing date of March 19, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.

Contractor and Tender Price (excluding HST):
Bonnechere Excavating Inc. - $103,895.75
Greenwood Paving (Pembroke) Ltd. - $132,250.00

Financial Implication:
The funding for this tender was included in the 2024 budget.

NOTICE: Property Tax Deadlines Unaffected by Postal Strike
