Recommendation:
That Council approves the award of Tender PW-12-2023, Stockpiling of Winter Sand 2024 & 2025, to G.P. Splinter in the amount of $86,775.00 + HST.
Discussion:
The tender was prepared and advertised on our corporate website and Facebook page. Five (5) firms requested tender packages and two (2) firms submitted complete tender packages on the closing date of September 26, 2023 at 10:00 a.m.
Contractor and Tender Price (excluding HST):
G.P. Splinter Forest Products Ltd. - $86,775.00
RGT Clouthier Construction Ltd. - $121,062.50
Financial Implication:
This tender covers a two-year period and funds will be budgeted for appropriately in the 2024 budget and the 2025 budget based on the awarded tender amount. The tender amount quoted is firm and will not change.
