Recommendation:
That Council approves the award of Tender FD-02-2023, Supply and Delivery of One (1) 2023 All Aluminum 20 Foot Tandem Cargo Trailer, to Huckabone’s Equipment in the amount of $34,520.00 plus HST.

Discussion:
This item was first tendered under FD-01-2023 with a closing date of May 16, 2023. The tender was advertised on the Town’s website and in a local newspaper. Two (2) firms requested tender packages and zero (0) firms submitted complete tender packages by the closing date.

Staff made some minor modifications and reduced the scope of the tender specifications and re-tendered under FD-02-2023.

The tender was prepared and advertised on our website and the Fire Department Facebook page. Five (5) firms requested tender packages and three (3) firms submitted complete tender packages on the closing date of July 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. as noted below.

Financial Implication:
The funding for this project was included in the 2023 budget.
