The Town of Petawawa is currently seeking an individual with excellent communication, computer and organizational skills for the full-time role of Administrative Support/Receptionist. Reporting to the Treasurer, the Administrative Support/Receptionist is responsible for providing general reception and cashier services and to support the administration of property taxes, user fees, licenses and accounts receivable. Duties include responding to general inquiries by telephone, email and in person; processing payments and preparing bank deposits; ordering supplies and providing administrative support to the Treasurer.
Applicants must possess a post secondary office or business administration diploma or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience. A minimum of one year relevant experience in a municipal work environment is considered an asset.

Compensation is based on qualifications and experience. The current salary range for this position is $24.16 to $28.42 an hour for a 35 hour work week. The Town offers an excellent benefits package.
