There is always an opportunity to be a little more wild. There are several opportunities to experience the back country. Get your paddle in your hand and head deep into Algonquin Park or paddle to the other side of the Ottawa River and experience the Dumoine River, from tame flatwater trips to full on whitewater excursions. There are  several outfitters and guides in the area to help you set up a shuttle or guide a fully planned trip for you and your family or a bunch of friends on a weekend away.

For those of you who want to try something new and a little different, sections of Algonquin Park are open year Round. Experience camping through a new fresh pair of eyes. The park takes on a whole new beauty and the great part is no mosquitoes and the bears are hibernating so there are a few perks to get you wanting to try camping when there’s a little snow on the ground.
