Water Tower Refurbishment Project Update

Petawawa, ON - Attention Petawawa residents: The Water Tower refurbishment project on Water Tower Road is proceeding according to schedule. Exterior tower and tank works are complete, and the contractor is proceeding with all interior tank works and associated upgrades to the inner workings of the Tower. The Town anticipates the conclusion of the project and the refilling of the Water Tower during the last week of November.

There are no water restrictions associated with this update. Residents may continue to notice some water pressure fluctuations until the Tower is refilled and returned to normal operations within the Town’s water distribution system. The Public Works Department along with the Ontario Clean Water Agency greatly appreciates the cooperation and patience of the public in conserving water during the dry weather in September and October.
