Operating an ORV outside of the designated routes is subject to enforcement by the Ontario Provincial Police and the issuance of fines. Fines range from $250.00 to $405.00 plus additional fees (victim surcharge and court costs).
ORVs may be operated on the Algonquin Trail (a trail permit is required).
The Ottawa Valley Recreational Trail offers an online map showing the OVRT and K&P Recreational Trails.
The Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicle Clubs offers an online map showing all OFATV Trails. A trail permit is required.
