County of Renfrew Declares State of Emergency

March 30, 2020 Pembroke - Warden Debbie Robinson declared a state of emergency due to the global COVID-19 pandemic across the entirety of the County of Renfrew under the Emergency Management and Protection Act.

This declaration enacts measures to make key decisions and potential funding from the Province.  It will further assist the County in maintaining essential services and evokes the County of Renfrew Emergency Response Plan and its Emergency Operations Centre.

Residents are directed to stay at home and follow the directions of the Renfrew County District and Health Unit, the Provincial and Federal Governments.

Residents can continue to get updates on COVID-19 by visiting the Renfrew County and District Health Unit website or the Province of Ontario website.
