February 1, 2019, A new florist shop has opened in Petawawa. Fleurish (in the Valley) is the flagship brick-and-mortar enterprise for a new owner and floral designer Amy Robinson. Having grown up in a family-run floral business environment, Keith's Flowers and Plants, Amy has amassed a wealth of design experience. Her unique aesthetic highlights the natural beauty of each element in her floral masterpieces. Simple, elegant, and refined are the keystones of Amy's arrangements. The mix of modern display techniques using everyday household vessels allows her flower creations to truly shine.
Fleurish offers a wide variety of services from fresh cut flowers and displays to wedding floral arrangements. The retail store shares space with local area treasures such as homemade chocolates, unique tea blends, some small jewelry pieces to soaps, scrubs, and scents. This allows other area artisans an opportunity to showcase their products and Amy often incorporates elements of them into her pieces.
Fleurish is located at 1049C Victoria Street in a portion of the former Kevin’s Flowers storefront. Kevin’s Flowers was a pillar enterprise in the Petawawa community for over 40 years. Amy feels honoured and blessed to be serving many of his long-standing customers and providing a new generation with florae to brighten their days.
