ii) A public meeting regarding an application for an amendment to the Zoning By-law
456/07 of the Town of Petawawa.

Subject Lands             Part of Lot 3, Range B, in the Town of Petawawa, as shown on the
                                    attached Key Map.
Public Meeting            A public meeting to inform the public of the proposed zoning by-law
amendment will be held on June 17, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the
municipal office of the Town of Petawawa.

Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment

The purpose and effect of the amendment is to rezone the subject lands as a condition
of consent to separate the existing dwelling from the existing kennel to facilitate the sale
of the kennel. The amendment is to rezone the severed lands in Consent Application
B184/22 from Residential Three (R3) to Residential One (R1) to recognize the existing
dwelling. The retained lands in B184/22, which contain the existing kennel and
outbuildings, will be rezoned from Residential Three (R3) to Rural-Exception Nineteen
(RU-E19) to reduce the minimum lot frontage requirement, recognize the existing
kennel by adding it as a permitted use, reduce the minimum required separation
distance between a Residential Zone and a kennel as well as permitting a new dwelling
on the retained lands to be within 100 m of the existing kennel.

Additional information regarding the zoning by-law amendment is available for
inspection at the Town of Petawawa Municipal Office during regular office hours.

If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Town of Petawawa on the proposed
zoning by-law amendment, you must make a written request to the Town of Petawawa.

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the
Town of Petawawa to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal but the person or public body
does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the
Town of Petawawa before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled
to appeal the decision
.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make
written submissions to the Town of Petawawa before the by-law is passed by the Town
of Petawawa, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of
an appeal before the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the
Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
