Notice of Public Meeting - Proposed Planning and Building Fees
TAKE NOTICE that Council for the Town of Petawawa will hold a public meeting on Monday November 18, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Town Hall, 1111 Victoria Street, Petawawa, in order to consider proposed changes to Planning Application Fees and changes to the Building Permit Fees under Section 7 of the Building Code Act.
PURPOSE AND EFFECT – The Town of Petawawa has conducted a review of the current planning application fees as well as a review of the building permit fees under Section 7(b) of the Building Code Act. The effect will be to increase certain planning application fees currently stated in Schedule A” of By-law 478/08 and add new fees to planning applications that currently do not have established fees. The effect will also be to increase certain fees stated in “Schedule A” of By-law 71/98, and add new fees. Information will be provided at the meeting on the proposed fees and the rationale for changing or imposing the fees.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed fees. Any written comments are to be submitted prior to November 18, 2019 and addressed to the Planning and Development Department at: Town of Petawawa, 1111 Victoria Street, Petawawa, ON K8H 2E6.
