BRENDA MUISE from Ottawa Ont | Signed on: Thu 03 Sep 2009 11:24:54 AM EDT Hello I just found this site and I remember the fog truck we used to chase it everytime it came around.My family live @ 3356 Brock Square from 1963 to early 1974 I went to General Lake Public School and we hung around with the Holidays,Weatherbee,Quakenbush,The Stewart and the Anderson They used to make a big hockey rink in the back of our house so the guys could play hockey in the winter. We were there when the bridge collapse to take you over to the base and when the propane tank exploded in behind the bemish store when they were having a dance in the front, The Petawawa point was the best place for swimming . |

Joined the Artillery in July 1964 and my first posting was back to Camp Petawawa. Served with 4RCHA. Attended General Panet from 61-1964. Remustered to Physical Training Instructor and retired in 1989 as a Peri Sergeant. As kids there, we use to run the logs down the Petawawa River as far as the Ottawa River. Gotta love the Ottawa Valley. Still have many wonderful friends there and I miss them dearly............ |
