Petawawa Public Library Summer Programs This summer register your children for the exciting Summer Reading Club sessions. Children will treasure hunt, jet set and globe trot all over the world. Registration takes place starting June 19th at 5pm. Two week session is $5 per child (grades 3-6) and begins July 2nd. Four day sessions is $3 per child (ages SrK to grade 2) and begin July 15th. Petawawa's Leash Free Dog park is on the move! The pilot project of the Dog park has been extended and relocated to the east portion of the Civic Centre, affectionately termed the "Back 40". This new location offers a blend of open space and treed forest providing dogs an area to run and dog owners an area to seek shade and protection from the elements. The entire area is fenced for security. Leash Free Dog Park Users are reminded of the rules for use of the park (see link). The Town of Petawawa reminds residents that regulations are in effect to secure a continued and abundant supply of water to our customers. Outdoor watering restrictions are in effect and contravention of the regulations could result in disrupted water service. Details on regulations and water useage schedules are available in the attached document.
