DATE CHANGE for Leaf & Yard Waste Pick-Up
The date for the first leaf & yard waste pick-up has been moved from the week of April 13th to the week of April 27th.  A second collection date has been added.

Leash Free Dog Park
Please be advised that due to the spring thaw currently underway, the Parks & Recreation Department has closed road access to the leash free dog park at the Petawawa Civic Centre.  While the LFDP remains open for use, patrons are asked to park in the main parking area at the Civic Centre and walk to the LFDP.  As soon as the existing granular roadways accessing the LFDP are dry enough for vehicular use, they will be re-opened.
Load Restrictions

Load restrictions shall come into effect on March 10, 2014 through to May 31st, 2014.

Fire Hydrants
A reminder to NOT cover fire hydrants with snow during snow removal.  They MUST be visible to the Fire Department and Public Works.

Petawawa Terrace Provincial Park OPEN for Use

Hazard tree clean-up has been completed in Petawawa Terrace Provincial Park.  Park trails are now re-opened and ready for use.  Trail grooming will commence shortly. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during clean-up operations.  As a friendly reminder; please ensure pets are leashed at all times while in the park and that any excrement is picked up and packed out.

Improvements to our community's High Speed Internet capabilities are currently underway by both private sector companies and the EORN.  EORN (Eastern Ontario Regional Network) is a project of the EOWC Inc. (Eastern Ontario Wardens’ Caucus Inc.) which comprises the 13 upper- and single-tier municipalities within Eastern Ontario, as well as separated municipalities and First Nations communities.  Several areas of Petawawa are set to come on board this Fall.  To search available services and timerlines  by address please use the following link:
